Terraforming Mars, the official tabletop role-playing game, allows you to play through generations of the terraforming of Mars, but also to zoom in on a specific period to develop your games.


If you had to choose one of the four eras of terraforming Mars to play your first games in, which would it be? 

• AGE OF PIONEERS: The first generations. The harshest conditions. The most demanding environmental challenges for the first explorers and corporations. 
• AGE OF CORPORATIONS: The next generations achieved the settlement of a larger infrastructure. Small cities that try to grow and maintain themselves on the planet with delicate balance. Humanity expands into space colonies in the Jovian system and  asteroid mining.
• AGE OF MEGALOPOLISES: The population of Mars has grown, and the more advanced generations enjoy ecological reserves, infrastructure for getting around, improvements in energy technology, alloys, food and water. There are still threats on the planet that can set back the project. Solar system colonization continues. 
• AGE OF GREEN MARS: Terraforming is almost a reality. But there are still problems, like the scramble for resources, tensions between the corporations, the new Martian government and the Earth government, diseases and more.

Terraforming Mars, el juego de rol oficial, te permite jugar a lo largo de las generaciones durante la terraformación de Marte. pero también disminuir el foco temporal y hacer zoom en un periodo concreto para desarrollar tus partidas.



Si tuvieras que elegir una de las cuatro eras de la terraformación de Marte para jugar tus primeras partidas, ¿cuál sería?

• ERA DE LOS PIONEROS: Las primeras generaciones. Las condiciones más duras. Los desafíos ambientales más exigentes para los primeros exploradores y corporaciones.
• ERA DE LAS CORPORACIONES: Las siguientes generaciones logran el asentamiento de una infraestructura mayor. Pequeñas ciudades que intentan crecer y mantenerse en el planeta con un delicado equilibrio. La humanidad se expande hacia colonias espaciales en el sistema joviano y la minería de asteroides.
• ERA DE LAS MEGALÓPOLIS: La población de Marte ha crecido, y las generaciones más avanzadas disfrutan de reservas ecológicas, infraestructura para desplazarse, mejoras  en la tecnología energética, aleaciones, alimentos y agua. Aún existen amenazas en el planeta que pueden malograr el proyecto. La colonización del sistema solar continúa.
• ERA DE MARTE VERDE: La terraformación es casi una realidad. Pero aún existen  problemas, como la lucha por los recursos, las tensiones entre las corporaciones, el  nuevo gobierno marciano y el gobierno terrestre, enfermedades y más.
